Welcome to the Personality Adjective Study
Help us build a new, more detailed map of human personality.
Thank you for your interest in this important research. You are about to take part in a crucial step of a major research program designed to create the Integration Model—a more respectful, comprehensive, and non-judgmental way to understand personality.
What is this study about?
For centuries, people have used simple adjectives to describe themselves and others. Words like "creative," "organized," "sociable," and "cautious" are the fundamental building blocks of how we communicate personality. In this study, you will be presented with a list of 150 adjectives. Your task is simple: for each word, please rate how accurately it describes you.
Why is this important?
By analyzing how thousands of people rate these words, we can create a high-resolution "map" of the personality landscape. This foundational work allows us to:
-
Validate a New Framework: Ensure our new model is grounded in the real ways people see themselves.
-
Discover Nuanced Traits: Understand how core personality strategies blend together to create unique, complex human beings.
-
Build Better Tools: Create future personality assessments that are more accurate, insightful, and helpful for personal growth.
Your thoughtful responses will directly contribute to building a scientific model that views every personality strategy as having its own unique strengths and purpose.
